The Fracture Begins Now

"Zeta Halo is breaking apart. The fight for what remains begins."

The Fracture Series is our newest Competitive Play Circuit, a three month campaign spanning three single day events, timed to coincide with the Battle for Zeta Halo wave hitting tabletops this fall. Each event tells the next chapter of the campaign, with a singular gamemode built around what's actually happening on the ring, so you'll know exactly what you're building toward and can bring a fireteam sharpened for the fight ahead.

Show up, prove yourself, and stack points across all three events. When the ring finally settles and the dust clears, only one commander will be crowned the Fracture Series Champion.

Strongholds - August 24

Sitrep:The ring is fractured, and both sides need a foothold. Before any offensive can begin, you need ground to call your own. Secure your territory, hold the line, and establish your base of operations.

Players will compete to capture three static objective areas on the map and hold them against the opposition.

Scenario Rules: At the end of each round, score the VPs shown on each VP Marker if you have a model in the cube with the marker but no enemy models in the cube. VP Objective Markers may not be picked up or moved.

Victory Conditions: This game will last up to 6 rounds, or until one player reaches 18 Victory Points.

Event Info: Event will consist of three matches, with each match lasting for 45 minutes per. See the official event page here,

Big Team Battle, Doubles

Attrition - September 21

Sitrep: With bases secured, it's time to muster. Team up with a fellow commander and lead a full scale assault against the opposition on the double mat battlefield. This is the largest, loudest fight of the campaign, eliminate the entire enemy force before they eliminate yours.

Teams are built to 500 points, split evenly at 250 points per player. Each team may only field a single Legend, so partnered players will need to coordinate their lists rather than doubling up on the same hero.

Scenario Rules: When a model is killed, it is left in place with a Downed status token instead of being removed. Downed models may be revived by a friendly model in the same cube taking an Auxiliary action, returning to play with Wound Markers equal to half their Health stat (rounded down) and all Energy Shields depleted. An enemy model in the same cube as a Downed model may instead take an Auxiliary action to permanently remove them from the game.

Starting round 5, the available playspace shrinks to the central 6x6 cubes, and down to the central 4x4 cubes at the start of round 6. Any model caught outside the shrinking playspace is immediately and permanently removed from the game.

Victory Conditions: Last team standing wins. Victory is achieved when only one player has live models remaining, all enemy models either permanently removed or Downed in any combination.

Event Info: Event will consist of two matches, with each match lasting for 65 minutes per. See the official event page here,

VIP - October 19

Sitrep: The major assaults are over and the opposing force is decimated. Now it's time to finish the job. Protect your Very Important Person at all costs, and take the fight to theirs. This is where the campaign ends, and where Zeta Halo is finally claimed.

Scenario Rules:At the start of Round 1, each player randomly selects a member of their Fireteam to be their VIP. That model gains +2 to its Health stat and must remain on the board for the start of Round 1, it cannot be pulled off board through Special Orders like Hot Drop. If a VIP is killed, the opponent scores 4 Victory Points. No other units score points if killed. If your VIP falls, the next friendly model to respawn becomes the new VIP.

Victory Conditions: The game ends immediately when one player reaches 20 Victory Points, or at round 8, in which the player with the most points wins.

Event Info: Event will consist of three matches, with each match lasting for 45 minutes per. See the official event page here,

What to Bring

Organized Play days are self-sufficient events. Every player is responsible for bringing everything they need to play.

Required items:

• Dice, unit cards, and all tokens required by the game rules
• Your team made using official Mantic Games models
• Terrain and buildings from the Halo Flashpoint base game
• A submitted team list via the Halo Flashpoint App (required before the event)

Matched pairs of players will combine their terrain to build the game board together. Come prepared.

Official Models Required

All competitive play events require the use of official Halo Flashpoint models produced by Mantic Games. Proxies and unofficial models are not permitted at competitive events.

It is highly recommended that your team is fully built and ready before arriving on the day. Arriving with a complete, legal roster ensures you can be paired into matches without delay.

Team lists can be submitted on the Official play page, linked with the event description.

Organized Play — FAQ

What is Organized Play?

Organized Play is Mantic's official competitive format for Halo: Flashpoint. Events are sanctioned, results are tracked globally, and participants earn leaderboard points each Season. All Black Harriers competitive events are officially registered and count toward Season standings globally.

What points format do we use?

All Black Harriers competitive events are played at 200 points unless otherwise stated. Lists must be built using the current legal rules and the Wargames Expansion, or the 1.5 rules starting in September.

What if I have never played in Organized Play before?

Don’t worry! Show up, bring your list, and we will walk you through the process. Everyone starts somewhere. It is recommended that you are familiar with the core mechanics of the game. If you are new, we recommend arriving to one of our casual play days, or demo events.

What is the Halo Flashpoint Index, and why do I need it?

The Halo Flashpoint Index is Mantic’s official companion site for team building and mandatory Organized Play registration. Submitting your list ensures your team is legal and pairs you against opponents. Every match played in these registered events logs your results to calculate your global ranking. You can check it out here.
